Description
Energen Resources Corporation, a subsidiary of Energen Corporation, has an immediate opening in its Farmington, New Mexico office for an Automation Tech.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of new instrumentation, data acquisition, and electrical equipment on new projects, and replacements and updates on existing equipment
• Daily maintenance, calibration, testing, and inspection of instrumentation/control and electrical systems
• Supervision and scheduling of electrical/automation contractors
• Maintaining cost tracking measures and project databases
• Assuring that all work meets regulatory compliance

Requirements
The qualified candidate will have 3 – 5 years of Automation and Electrical experience with a broad knowledge of all types of instrumentation and electrical equipment.  Advanced A/C and D/C electrical skills are required.  A working knowledge of PLC Controllers and Variable Frequency Drives is a plus.  Computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheets are a must.  We offer a highly competitive salary and bonus plan with a complete benefits package.
