District Engineer 


Description
Energen Resources Corporation, a subsidiary of Energen Corporation has an immediate opening for a District Engineer in its Midland, Texas office.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting production reviews on assigned properties
• Stimulation and completion design for development activities
• Providing technical assistance to operations staff to increase recovery of hydrocarbons and project economics
• Identifying opportunities to exploit existing production base
  

Requirements
The qualified applicant will possess a degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years production experience in the Permian Basin. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must; operating experience in primary and secondary recovery operations and working knowledge of Aries a plus.
