Wayne Nevels, Alagasco measurement and control technician III - Phenix City, received a $500 grant to help pay for uniforms for the Smith Station High School Diamond Club ninth grade baseball team.
Chris Rose, Alagasco, crewman - Birmingham Western Operations Center, received a $500 grant for the Pleasant Grove High School Baseball Boosters to purchase uniforms.
Bryan Rotenberry, Alagasco construction journeyman - Birmingham, received a $500 grant for the Hueytown Quarterback Club to purchase supplies for the field house and weight room.
Rob Wall, Alagasco construction journeyman - Birmingham, received a $500 grant for the Hueytown Middle School softball team to purchase equipment and uniforms.
Todd Kircus, Alagasco collector/dispatcher/storekeeper - Anniston, received a $500 grant for the Crush Girls softball team to equipment and uniforms.
Grants are awarded to employees who volunteer at least 40 hours a year to eligible organizations. Eligible organizations include schools, charitable, non-profit or community organizations that provide a public service.
