Field Operator – Brookwood Office

Description
Energen Resources has an immediate opening for a Field Operator in our Brookwood, Alabama Office.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of methane gas wells.
• Operation and maintenance of pumping stations, water lines, ponds, points of discharge and monitoring equipment.
• General maintenance of project facilities, including light fabrication, grass cutting, and cleaning of equipment.
• Road, right-of-way and facilities repair and inspection.
• Data compilation and entry into computer database.

Requirements
The qualified candidate must have mechanical skills with hand tools, pneumatic systems, basic electricity, pumps, and methane wells.  Must be familiar with natural gas engines, gas measurement equipment, fluid level measurement devices, water treatment devices and instruments, calculator and computer.  2-3 years oil and gas field experience preferred.  On-call work; must be able to be at job site within 30 minutes of Brookwood office; some overtime required.
