He was named General Counsel and Secretary of Energen and each of its subsidiaries in 2003. From 1995 to 2010 he also served as Energen’s Vice President - Corporate Development. David is a member of the Alabama and Florida Bar Associations and is a Florida certified public accountant. He is a member of the board of directors of the Birmingham Metro YMCA and is a former member and past president of the Vestavia Hills Board of Education. David is a graduate of University of North Carolina and University of Virginia School of Law.
