Sid McAnnally joined the Company in 2009 and is responsible for Energen’s governmental affairs at the local, state and federal levels, corporate communications, economic development functions and the Energen Foundation.  Prior to joining Energen, Sid was the Leader of the Governmental and Regulatory affairs Practice Group at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. where he represented financial and utility interests across the southeast. 

Sid is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leadership Alabama, serves on the Board of Children's Hospital and has served on the boards of numerous civic and professional organizations.  He is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama School of Law.
