Senior Acquisitions Engineer
Description
Energen Resources Corporation, a subsidiary of Energen Corporation, has an immediate opening in its Birmingham, Alabama office for a Senior Acquisitions Engineer. Responsibilities include:
• Estimating reserves
• Constructing economic models
• Economic analysis of oil and gas projects
• Conducting engineering studies

Requirements
The qualified candidate will possess a degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field of study and ten to fifteen years of relevant experience. Past experience should include reserve assessment and economic analysis of a variety of properties. Business development experience desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must. Working knowledge of Aries and OFM a plus.
